肖少波，1969年出生，博士，华中农业大学二级岗教授、博士生导师，国家杰出青年基金获得者、湖北省自然科学基金创新研究群体学术带头人。先后入选国家农业科研杰出人才、国家中青年科技创新领军人才、国家百千万人才工程、教育部新世纪优秀人才、武汉市黄鹤科技英才等人才计划，荣获“国家有突出贡献中青年专家”等荣誉称号，享受国务院政府特殊津贴。兼任中国免疫学会兽医免疫学专业委员会委员、湖北省微生物学会畜牧兽医微生物学专业委员会主任，《病毒学报》、《中国动物传染病学报》等杂志编委。主要开展猪繁殖与呼吸综合征病毒、猪肠道冠状病毒等重要动物病毒的病原学与流行病学、病毒与宿主免疫系统的相互作用、新型疫苗与诊断技术研究。先后承担国家自然科学基金重大项目、国家杰出青年基金、973计划、863计划、国家科技支撑计划、教育部科学技术研究重大项目等科研课题，在Journal of Virology (JVI)、Journal of Biological Chemistry (JBC)、Journal of Proteome Research (JPR) 等国际期刊上发表SCI论文130余篇，申报/获得国家发明专利20余项，新兽药注册证书2项。
