Areas of Research Interests/ Research
Since 2003, participated in total 16 projects/grants on animal infectious diseases, served as principal investigator of several grants, which came from a variety of resources including the National Basic Research Program (973) of China, the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the National Programs for High Technology Research and Development of China, Key Project of Chinese Ministry of Education, National Transgenic Breeding Projects and the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities. His current research major in animal Infectious Disease, with a focus on molecular biology and molecular pathogenisis of animal viruses, Innate immunity and antiviral research, novel-vaccines and etiology & molecular diagnostic methods for animal viral diseases.
