Guiqing Peng is a professor in the Department of Veterinary Medicine, and a permanent staff in the State Key Laboratory of Agricultural Microbiology at Huazhong Agricultural University. His current research aims at elucidating the receptor recognition and replication mechanisms of Coronavirus, thus developing new vaccine and antiviral drugs.
