Scientific Research Results

Research Interest

He mainly focuses on the pathogens of porcine bacterial respiratory disease syndrome such as APP, HPS and SS2, from the etiology and epidemiology, genomic and functional genomics, pathogenicity and immune mechanism, new vaccines and molecular diagnostic reagents research and creation scientific research on comprehensive prevention and control shutdown technology of major animal diseases. His main research directions include: (1) The genome and functional genomics of important animal pathogenic bacteria; (2) The molecular pathogenicity and immune mechanism of important animal pathogenic bacteria; (3) The molecular design and creation of new vaccines, diagnostic reagents and new drugs for important animal diseases.


Academic Contribution

He has presided over and undertaken 4 projects of National Natural ScienceFoundation of China, 1 project of Ministry of Education New Century Talent Support Program, 1 project of Special Fund for Agro-scientific Research in the Public Interest of Ministry of Agriculture, 1 project of Excellent Youth Foundation of Hu’bei Scientific Committee, 1 project of Research and Development of Hubei Province.He participated in 2 projects of National Program on Key Basic Research Project (973 Program),2 projects of National High-tech R&D Program of China (863 Program).Published 48 SCI-accepted papers in the journals of Virulence, JID, JB, Vaccine, Veterinary Microbiology, etc. as the first or corresponding author.In 2013 and 2014, he won the first prize of Scientific and Technological Progress of Hubei Province, and in 2018 he won the First Prize of achievement promotion in Hubei Province. Obtained 2 projects of National new Veterinary Drug Registration Certificate, 4 projects of Agricultural Genetically Modified Biosafety, 2 cases of Evaluation Certificates, and the First Completion Authorized National Invention Patent, 3 projects of Transformation of Scientific and Technological Achievements.

Note

He has been a reviewer for more than 10 international SCI journals including Vaccine, Analytica Chimica Acta, Comparative Immunology, Microbiology & Infectious Diseases. He participated in the compilation of three books including Veterinary Laboratory Diagnosis, Veterinary Manual and Genomics. He is an assessment expert of Natural Science Foundation Program ( NSFC), as well as NFSC of Beijing, Zhejiang and Jiangxi Province, and also an assessment expert of doctoral dissertations in the degree center of the Ministry of Education. From September 2016 to now, as the school-enterprise cooperation expert of Huazhong Agricultural University and Guangxi Yangxiang Co., Ltd., he is responsible for the establishment of biological safety management system in pig farms, as well as the prevention and control of major diseases.
