Current areas of research

Molecular mechanisms governing Toxoplasma parasitism and pathogenesis; carbon metabolism and its regulation; molecular mechanisms that control the transition of acute infection to chronic infection; design of live attenuated anti-toxoplasmic vaccines for animals.
