In view of national science and technology development policy, the national strategic objectives, the frontier of scientific development, and major demands of national development, the studies in the Laboratory are mainly focused on the utilization of beneficial microbes in agriculture and the treatment of harmful microbes, deepening applied research on agricultural microbiology and extending towards basic research and application development. The Laboratory is expected to be built into a distinctive, nationwide leading and internationally influential key laboratory of agricultural microorganism.
